1st Avenue South

Join us in celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the MLK Dream Big Parade!

This vibrant and inspiring parade travels through the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg on 1st Avenue South, culminating at Tropicana Field.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to honor the achievements of Dr. King and to embrace the diversity and unity of our community. Witness a spectacular array of floats representing various organizations that embody the spirit of Dr. King’s vision, enjoy the lively performances of marching bands from local schools and more. 

Renowned Film Producer Will Packer will serve as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Big Parade!  

Accessibility: The parade route is accessible for people with disabilities, and special viewing areas will be designated
